Attributes of the project
- In this project, 2 products were used both the line drainage and the wide kerb bands;
- Extra wide tires were used for the bus stop so that it matched the natural stone nicely;
- Line drainage was used for the market;
- At the lowest point in the market, the kerb provides additional drainage capacity.
HOW DID IDS SUPPORT THIS PROJECT?
Together with Joep van Wijk, the technical department employees at IDS came up with an innovative solution to the water problem on the market. IDS helped draw the plans and further supported the project by giving instructions during installation.
ADVANTAGES OVER REGULAR DRAINAGE
- Large courtyard remains untouched during placement;
- Very fast and high surface drainage;
- Tight street work without interruptions;
- Only 8 inspection-, cleaning-, and sand collection points for 7,225 m2;
- Prevents PAK's, among other things, from entering the subsurface.
